Sculptra®

Sculptra® is an injectable filler that diminishes the signs of facial fat loss. This condition, known as lipoatrophy, is common among people with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). Sculptra® injections thicken the skin, helping to create a fuller, healthier facial appearance in those suffering from facial lipoatrophy.

Sculptra® contains synthetic poly-L-lactic acid. Unlike many other fillers, it is not made from human or animal materials. This acid is nontoxic and biodegradable, and has been widely used for many years in sutures and other surgical products. In many cases, the benefits of Sculptra® last as long as two years - much longer than most other fillers.
