Before Your Face Lift
Your candidacy for Face Lift (rhytidectomy) can only be evaluated during a consultation with Dr. Proffer. Some risk is unavoidable, but most healthy adults can safely undergo a Face Lift without major complications. At your consultation, we will discuss your health history and goals for surgery. The MACS Face Lift

After a comfortable overnight stay in our surgery center, your dressings, which are usually removed the next day. Discomfort is usually minimal, and can be controlled easily with medication in most cases. You will return to have your sutures removed within two weeks. Bruising and swelling recede dramatically within two to three weeks to the point that you can go out in public without feeling self-conscious. The benefits of surgery should be evident within four to six weeks, with continued improvement for several months after surgery.
